The company Jannelli&Volpi was founded on May 13, 1961, by Oreste Jannelli, together with his
wife and brothers-in-law: a reality with the idea of modernity in the world of wall coverings.
The importance of Made in Italy is evident on every page of its history, a company
deeply rooted in its homeland, which has grown, evolved, and
established itself in international markets, distinguishing itself for quality and style.
This is Jannelli&Volpi, a family story with an unchanged passion: “to capture the
wonder and fill the world with it is what has brought us here, and what the world recognizes us
for every day.”
On May 13, 1961, Oreste Jannelli founded, together with his wife and brothers-in-law, the Jannelli&Volpi Company, a business that aims to achieve modernity in the world of wallcoverings. Its first location in via Melzo 13 in Milan in the heart of the city.
Il 3 aprile 1967 fonda Aetas, azienda specializzata in rivestimenti murali dall’elevato contenuto tecnico che distribuisce in tutta Italia.
Inaugurates its headquarters at 7 Via Melzo in Milan with a design by Architect Aldo Paramatti and Oreste Jannelli supported by impresario Enrico Monestiroli.
On December 13, 1971, Jannelli&Volpi founded SIRPI: Società Industriale Rivestimenti Parati Italiana based in Peschiera Borromeo, MI.
The first traditional printing presses.
A showroom with a 500-square-meter exhibition reserved for the public opened in the new headquarters.
Launches an intensive advertising campaign in major national monthly and weekly newspapers.
Since 1980 the company has been led by the brothers Lidia, Mauro and Paola a few years later.
Invests in new production technologies while maintaining the industrial expertise of tradition to produce fine collections that it distributes worldwide.
Collaborates with designers to create new collections gaining recognition in national and international publications.
• Starts a major renovation project of the headquarters at 7 Via Melzo in Milan.
• JVstore opens: a trend-setting reality for wallpapers, wallcoverings, upholstery fabrics, furniture and design complement aimed at the public and industry professionals.
Establishes co-branding relationships with design and fashion companies, museums, academies and universities and collaborates with leading designers.
JVstore will become a location for major events created in collaboration with national and international companies and art directors.
• Collaboration with Marimekko brand begins. • Selected among the most interesting national realities according to the weekly "Il Mondo".
Jannelli&Volpi starring in exhibitions and events dedicated to design.
For the 50 years (1961-2011) under the curatorship of Matteo Ragni presents the J&V 5x10 Celebration collection – design Paola Navone, Italo Lupi ("La Quiete"), Giulio Iacchetti ("Spiegato"), Diego Grandi ("Iride") and Matteo Ragni ("DNA Floreale") - collected in the book Wallpaper Celebration, ed. Corraini - then selected in the Adi Design Index 2012.
• Inaugurates the new industrial site in Tribano in the heart of the southern park of Milan with a view to sustainability and research with cutting-edge technologies. • It is selected in the most important awards dedicated to products and design. • The collaboration with Armani/Casa began with three lines o collections that were enriched over time, becoming a great brand valued all over the world.

Build a circular economy system with Greenwall.
• The JVTradeNet digital tool receives SMAU 2020 Innovation Award • Wins the Archiproducts Design Awards with Animalia/Primavere Collection, designed by Vito Nesta for CO.DE Contemporary Design by Jannelli e Volpi.
Launches capsule collection ROOMS by Patricia Urquiola, brand CO.DE
It is the year of the collaboration with the eclectic designer Alessandro Enriquez, from wich the EnriquezLand collection was born.
