Scalamandré by Jannelli&Volpi: an inedited collaboration that gives life to the tale of a journey through the 5 continents, marked by a graphic sign that originates from the classical style of the 19th century. The name Luoyang is derived from an internationally renowned peony garden in China. This delicately detailed wallcovering of blossoming peonies and butterflies is adapted from a hand painted Chinese silk panel discovered in the Scalamandré archives. The soft watercolor rendering is printed on raffia plant fiber, adding texture and dimension.
