JV 505 Grande Corniche, a major collection of wallcoverings that brings with it the early industrial printing techniques of the nineteenth century and the extraordinary manufacturing innovation of the contemporary. Historical drawing belonging to the great archive Jannelli&Volpi deriving from the Paul Dumas atelier. We can still admire it, in its historical version, in the villa Fogazzaro Roi where the great Italian writer wrote his most famous novel, “Piccolo mondo antico” published in 1896. The villa overlooking Lake Ceresio evokes, still intact, the atmosphere of Antonio Fogazzaro's masterpiece, who so loved this villa overlooking an untouched corner and furnished with exquisite taste with wallpapers and furnishing fabrics: among them Provençal.
